I'm an experimental condensed matter physicist with a passion for picoscale materials control and phenomena in quantum oxide heterostructures.
I believe in using all the tools available from materials chemistry to engineer novel structural, electronic and magnetic properties in quantum materials. This can include moving ions around, playing with boundary conditions or mechanical manipulation. I characterise my materials using a range of techniques from in-house transport and spectrometry to unique international facilities such as synchrotrons and muon sources.
Right now I'm a Postdoctoral Fellow in the department of Applied Physics at Stanford University and the Stanford Institute for Materials and Energy Science at SLAC National Lab.
